A film about Anne Boleyn without Cardinal Wolsey? Yes, the director obviousy didn't think he was important. He was mentioned though - ONCE. Two hours long it was a bitter dissapointment. The book by Philippa Gregory was brilliant, but the film was dire. Henry VIII needed a charisma implant. Anne Boleyn was good but hampered by the the script. Interplay between the characters was zero. Oh, and Thomas Moore didn't appear either. Still I don't suppose the director or scrip writer bothered to read the book which was a shame. Maybe they just read the blurb on the jacket.
