David Beckham is a footballer or, in more general terms, a sportsman.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are members of the royal family.
Helen Mirren and Helena Bonham-Carter are actors.
JK Rowling is a writer.

Why lump them under the generic term of celebrity?
